Auto insurance in Clinton, NC, in English and Spanish

In Sampson County, a car isn't a luxury: it's how you get to work, to school and out to the fields. Our Clinton office, at 201-C Northeast Boulevard, serves families in Clinton and across the county, from Garland to Newton Grove, in English and Spanish. Many of our clients drive US 701 or US 421 every day, or take I-40 toward Raleigh and Wilmington. As an independent agency, we compare several insurance companies and explain each coverage before you decide. Call us at 910.240.3520 or visit Monday through Friday.

The parts of an auto policy in North Carolina

North Carolina law requires every registered vehicle to carry liability insurance, with no gaps. Beyond what's required, it helps to understand what each part of the policy does:

  • Liability: covers other people when you cause an accident. For policies issued or renewed since July 1, 2025, the minimum is $50,000 per person and $100,000 per accident for injuries, and $50,000 for property damage (50/100/50).
  • Uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM): the law requires it on every new or renewed policy, at least at the new limits. It steps in for you when the other driver has no insurance or not enough.
  • Collision: pays to repair your vehicle after a crash, minus the deductible, no matter who was at fault.
  • Comprehensive: covers what isn't a crash with another car, like theft, hail, flooding or a deer crossing the road.

Keep in mind the legal minimum isn't always enough for a serious accident. We explain the recent changes in our guide to the new minimums.

Getting a quote with us, step by step

  1. Tell us what you need. Use the online form, call us, send a WhatsApp or stop by the office at 201-C Northeast Boulevard.
  2. We look for options. A licensed agent checks several of the companies we represent based on your vehicles, your drivers and the coverage you want.
  3. You choose with all the information. We explain the differences between the options, and your coverage starts when an agent confirms it with you.

What to have handy

  • Driver's license for each driver in the household
  • Year, make, model and VIN of each vehicle
  • Address where the vehicles are kept
  • Your current policy or declarations page, if you're already insured
  • Recent accidents or tickets

If you'll use your truck for farm work or a business, tell us from the start: you may need different coverage than a personal policy.

The advantage of an independent agency in Clinton

Instead of selling you one brand, we compare your auto insurance with several companies, including AAA Carolinas, Discovery Insurance Company, Insurance House, Liberty Mutual, National General, Progressive, The General and Travelers. If your company raises your price, we look for another option without you starting from scratch.

At the Clinton office you'll work with our agents Gloria Valladares and Vilma Coello, in English or Spanish. Learn more about our auto insurance or see all the companies we represent.

Frequently asked questions

Can I be helped in Spanish at the Clinton office?

Yes. The whole Clinton team helps clients in English and Spanish, in person, by phone at 910.240.3520 or by WhatsApp.

Can I get insurance with an ITIN or a matrícula consular?

Yes. We work with clients who have an ITIN or a matrícula consular. Tell us what ID you have and a licensed agent will explain your options.

Does my insurance cover hitting a deer?

Yes, if your policy includes comprehensive coverage. Liability alone doesn't pay for damage to your own car. We'll review your policy with you.

Is uninsured motorist coverage required?

Yes. Uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) coverage must be on every new or renewed policy since July 1, 2025, at least at the new limits.

My son just got his license. Does my insurance change?

Usually he needs to be added to the policy. Drivers first licensed on or after July 1, 2025 can pay an inexperience surcharge for up to 8 years, lower after the third year. We'll help you compare options.

What happens if my insurance lapses?

Insurance companies notify the DMV, and the DMV sends a notice to the registered owner. If you don't respond, your plates can be revoked and you can be fined. We explain what to do in this guide.

Do you serve people from Garland or Newton Grove?

Yes. We serve clients throughout Sampson County and neighboring counties. You can do everything by phone or WhatsApp, or visit us at 201-C Northeast Boulevard.
